Project X: William's Landing
I love taking public transport all across Melbourne. And one of my
favorites, is the train! METRO TRAINS! (yeah feel free to remember the
"dumb ways to die" song lol)
Anyway, there's a new train station around the neighbourhood. It was open a month ago, I think, and it's very close to my house. An approximate of 10 minutes drive, but you wouldn't consider walking there ;)
The new station's called "William's Landing." It's got this modern, tunnel thing, which I think is pretty cool. Most of the train stations around are kinda old and victorian style, but this feels futuristic. But the one thing I hate about William's Landing is that it's very windy there. And by windy, I don't mean soft breezes passing by. I mean mini-tornado-like wind that could blow you off the station. And not to mention the cold! Brrrr, that is just horrible.
Anyway, me and my sister went there to get into town, and we thought, why not do a shoot there? :))
We took the trains to Melbourne, and we got off at Southern Cross Station. It is the largest train station in Melbourne, and it houses both metro and regional trains. We were actually going to Stella Maris Function Hall to have salsa classes! They're hosted by The Salsa Foundation Melbourne, and tell ya what, it was one hell of a night! There's just been so much fun!
Oh but actually, we got off early, and we decided to have a nice cup of coffee at a coffee shop just a couple blocks away. I, um, actually had tea haha.
After salsa, we went off to Federation Square, just across Flinders Street Station. We took some pictures before we went to chinatown for dinner.
Then we eventually head home, but of course, with a few more shots ;)

We had dinner in chinatown, in this small restaurant called "Shanghai Dumpling House." I came across this restaurant last year with my friend PB, and the dumplings were really good! And we also had a bowl of noodles and pumpkin cakes :D
fried pork dumplings
and there's my sister enjoying her noodle
